Welcome! My name is Shelby Shaw. I received my Bachelors of Science in social work from Union University in 2017, and my Masters of Social Work in 2019 from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I am experienced in working with survivors of domestic and sexual violence and trauma, along with eating disorders in residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient settings.

I am trauma informed and primarily utilize Internal Family Systems (IFS) with a focus on attachment and inner child wounds. I am fully trained in EMDR as an additional way to treat complex trauma and PTSD symptoms. I am well versed in mood and personality disorders, as well as suicidal ideations and self harm urges/behaviors.

I offer a direct and nurturing environment that allows clients to explore, with compassion and without judgment, what it would be like to move forward in acceptance and healing. Payments and Policies

Payments can be made by credit card and are due at time of session.

I am in network with BCBS, Optum/UHC, Cigna, and Aetna. I am happy to provide a superbill to help with reimbursement.

Location

Sessions are offered in person at 950 Mt. Moriah Rd Memphis, TN, 38117- Suite 202. Virtual sessions are also offered as long as you are located in TN at the time of session.

Cancellation Policy

Please contact me within 48 hours of your scheduled session time to cancel or reschedule. If you do not cancel within 48 yours and miss session, you will be charged the full fee for your reserved time. Exceptions may be made in case of emergency.
